Andre Johnson: Latest News, Rumors, Speculation Surrounding Free-Agent WR

Four months after the Indianapolis Colts released him, wide receiver Andre Johnson is still preparing to play in 2016.

Johnson Training for This Season Wednesday, July 6 Per Aaron Wilson of the Houston Chronicle, Johnson is working out daily in Houston with Rischad Whitfield of Blitz Football. 
"I'm just training right now and just waiting for an opportunity," Johnson told Wilson. "When that comes, I'll take advantage of it."
After spending the first 12 years of his NFL career with the Houston Texans, Johnson signed with the Colts in March 2015. He had the worst year of his career in which he played all 16 games, catching 41 passes for 503 yards and four touchdowns. 
The Colts decided to move on from Johnson after one season, releasing him with two years left on his deal. There hasn't been any news or rumors about teams showing serious interest in the 34-year-old, though things can change as injuries happen afte...
