Andrew Luck Hoping to Become Fastest No. 1 Pick to Reach Super Bowl

With a win over the New England Patriots on Sunday, Indianapolis Colts quarterback Andrew Luck would become the first No. 1 overall draft pick at his position to reach the Super Bowl within the first three seasons of his career, per ESPN Stats & Info.
Of course, while a number of the NFL's most successful signal-callers went first overall in the draft, most of these players were joining teams with rather barren rosters.
Nine quarterbacks drafted first overall have reached a Super Bowl, and eight of those captured at least one championship, with current Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Alex Smith being the lone exception.
The group is otherwise comprised of Terry Bradshaw, Jim Plunkett, John Elway, Troy Aikman, Drew Bledsoe, Peyton Manning, David Carr and Eli Manning, with the eight players accounting for 16 rings.
