Andrew Luck Sets Record for Most Passing Yards Through 3 Seasons

Indianapolis Colts quarterback Andrew Luck threw for 294 yards in Sunday's win over the Cleveland Browns to surpass Peyton Manning's record for most passing yards through a player's first three seasons, per a tweet from STATS.
With three games remaining in his third NFL season, Luck has 12,501 career passing yards, which is already 214 more than the 12,287 Manning piled up for the Colts from 1998 to 2000.
It's only natural to compare the two No. 1-overall draft picks, given that Luck replaced Manning as the Colts' franchise quarterback.
While Luck will finish this season with better statistics through three years than Manning, it's not exactly a secret that the NFL has become far more friendly to quarterbacks and the passing game in recent years.
