Andy Dalton Injury: Updates on Bengals Star’s Thumb and Recovery

Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Andy Dalton's offseason began with the continuation of his recovery from a broken thumb on his throwing hand.

Dalton's Thumb Is Almost Ready Wednesday, Feb. 10 When speaking with Geoff Hobson of the Bengals' official website, Dalton made it sound like his thumb is almost good to go; however, he won't be throwing right away. 
"Not throwing yet because we are being very conservative with it,” Dalton said in a text to Hobson. “I feel like I can throw but no reason to push anything right now. I have plenty of time now to get 100 percent.”
Recently completing his fifth season in the league, Dalton suffered an injury in Week 14 against the Pittsburgh Steelers that derailed the Bengals' postseason hopes when they lost him for the season.
