Arizona Cardinals Team News: Cards Could Avoid Marshawn Lynch in Week 1

The Cardinals may have gotten very lucky in one person's stupidity and recklessness.
As has been reported across the nation, Seattle Seahawks running back Marshawn Lynch was arrested for driving under the influence (DUI) in Oakland, Calif. last night.
Lynch has proved to be a huge part of Seattle's offense, recording a career high 1,204 yards rushing last season, which accounted for over two-thirds of the team's output for the season.
However, he has had his share of troubles with the law in the past. In 2009, Lynch was arrested on felony charges for possession of a concealed weapon and subsequently suspended for three games that season.
With NFL commissioner Roger Goodell's recent tough stance on DUI offenses and Lynch's history of troubles, there is a very good chance the running back will be suspended for the start of the 2012-13 NFL season.
