Bail Jumper Arrested After Giving Hot Take on Washington Redskins Name Change

He would’ve gotten away with it had it not been for Daniel Snyder and those meddling, controversially named Redskins. 
According to The Associated Press (h/t Pro Football Talk’s Michael David Smith), a man wanted for skipping bail on drug and drunk driving charges was arrested in Pennsylvania on Sunday after offering a piping hot take on the Washington Redskins’ name controversy to a local paper. 
The fugitive, a Bloomsburg University student named Jacob Close, consented to have his picture taken and published in the local Press Enterprise along with his opinion that the Redskins should “keep the same name, but change the mascot to a potato.” 
Close’s pilfered wit quickly caught up to him, and the 25-year-old was arrested at a student recreation center after authorities recognized his image in the paper. He is currently being held in Columbia County prison on $25,000 bail and awaiting extradition to New York. <...
