Ben McAdoo Reportedly to Coach Giants: Latest Contract Details and Reaction

The New York Giants are reportedly no longer looking for a head coach.
According to Ian Rapoport of NFL.com, "the Giants are hiring Ben McAdoo" to fill the position. Jason La Canfora of CBS Sports added, "McAdoo has been highly thought of throughout the process. Giants very much want to keep him. Set for the ultimate promotion [Thursday]."
McAdoo will replace Tom Coughlin, who stepped down following Week 17 after 12 years and two Super Bowl titles as the Giants' head coach.
It is a drastic swing for the franchise considering the 69-year-old Coughlin was the league's oldest coach this season. McAdoo is only 38 years old and will become the NFL's second-youngest head coach behind only new Miami Dolphins lead man, 37-year-old Adam Gase.
McAdoo was the offensive coordinator for the Giants during the 2014 and 2015 seasons and is familiar with quarterback Eli Manning, wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. and the rest of the personnel on that side of the ball.
