Benson Mayowa to Cowboys: Latest Contract Details, Comments and Reaction

The Oakland Raiders reportedly declined to match the Dallas Cowboys' offer sheet for restricted free agent Benson Mayowa on Tuesday, which will allow him to join the NFC East squad.  
Brandon George of the Dallas Morning News passed along confirmation of the Raiders' decision from the defensive end's agency, Reign Sports. Todd Archer of ESPN.com previously reported the Cowboys' offer sheet was a three-year, $8.25 million deal with a $3.3 million signing bonus.
David Moore of the Dallas Morning News noted the decision cannot become official until Wednesday:
Mayowa is a raw talent that went undrafted out of Idaho in 2013. After a short stint with the Seattle Seahawks, he's spent the past two seasons as a limited contributor for the Raiders.
