Bill Belichick Tells Reporters ‘Let’s End on a High Note,’ Walks out of Presser

The New England Patriots lost LeGarrette Blount on Sunday to a season-ending hip injury, forcing the team to spend this week rummaging about in the free-agent bin for reinforcements.
One name that has cropped up as a possible short-term option for New England is former Atlanta Falcons running back Steven Jackson. 
NFL.com's Ian Rapoport was first to note the Patriots' interest in Jackson, who will reportedly work out with the team on Wednesday. 
Obviously, as with all New England personnel decisions, Bill Belichick isn't into showing his cards too early, too late or ever. The Patriots head coach spoke with the media at a press conference on Wednesday morning, and he was not keen to elaborate about their ongoing running-back search.
Video of the conference's ending was tweeted by WBZ-TV's Joe Giza. When Jackson's name came up, Belichick decided it would be best for everyone if he just walked away so they could end things on a happy, non-surly note:
