Bird Watch: A New Era in Philadelphia Is Emerging

Gone are the days of Brian Westbrook and Donovan McNabb. As a matter of fact, if you scan your finger down the roster of the Philadelphia Eagles you will be lucky to see some veteran leadership. A new era brings hope in Philadelphia. One that is brand new, young, energetic, and extremely motivated to persevere into a Super Bowl contender. Many Eagle fans across North America have dealt with a lot of changes in the past few years. The Eagles have said their goodbyes to many legends of the game. For instance, the loss of Brian Dawkins sent a shock throughout Philadelphia. As a matter of fact, it kept coming. Brian and Donovan made ways with the team, departing away from us this past summer. So as Eagles fans, we stop and ponder. We ask ourselves what to make of all of this. What do we expect now? Is there a light? Do the fans believe in this new era of football in Philadelphia?
