Bishop Sankey to Chiefs: Latest Contract Details, Comments and Reaction

Former second-round pick Bishop Sankey is back in the NFL, as the Kansas City Chiefs signed the running back off the New England Patriots practice squad Tuesday, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter.
Sankey's agent, Jason Bernstein, confirmed the news on Twitter.
The former University of Washington standout was the No. 54 overall pick in the 2014 NFL draft by the Tennessee Titans and was released by the team prior to the start of the 2016 regular season.
Sankey has been part of the New England Patriots' practice squad since shortly after his departure from Tennessee, but injury concerns prompted the Chiefs to nab him.
Chiefs starting running back Spencer Ware left the team's Week 8 win over the Indianapolis Colts with a concussion, per Terez A. Paylor of the Kansas City Star, and his availability for Week 9 is uncertain.
