Bold Predictions for the Detroit Lions

I was recently criticized for not making "bold predictions" about the Lions 2010 season.
Here are a few snippets from comments that were left:
"Here’s a storyline for you Ryan: Timid Lions Sportswriters Afraid To Make Optimistic Predictions!"
"We’re constantly told “Don’t drink the Kool-Aid!” and “Curb your enthusiasm!” Blah, blah, blah!"
"No sportswriter dared to predict that the Bengals would go from 4-11-1 in 2008 to 10-6 in 2009, or that Miami would go from 1-15 to 11-5 and Atlanta from 4-12 to 11-5 in 2008, or that the Saints would go from 3-13 to 10-6 in 2006. And none will predict a winning season for Detroit now."
Well you asked for it, so here you go.
The Lions Schedule dosn't exactly favor them in many match ups, but I do think they will pull off some upsets.
