Brad Wing to Giants: Latest Trade Details, Comments and Reaction

The New York Giants reportedly acquired second-year punter Brad Wing from the Pittsburgh Steelers on Friday in exchange for a late-round draft pick.
Aaron Wilson of the National Football Post first reported the news. Ian Rapoport of the NFL Network confirmed Wing replaces Steve Weatherford, whom the Giants released earlier Friday. Wing moving on means Jordan Berry wins the punting job in Pittsburgh, per Dale Lolley of the Observer-Reporter.
The Steelers will receive a conditional seventh-round pick in the 2016 draft, according to ESPN's Dan Graziano.
It's a marginal upgrade at best for the Giants.
Weatherford finished 17th in the NFL with an average of 45.5 yards per punt last season. Opponents returned his punts 10.6 yards per attempt (ranking him 27th), and his net punting average was also in the league's bottom 10 at 38.6 yards.
