Brandin Cooks’ Rising Fantasy Stock Means Owners Should Buy Now

Rookie New Orleans Saints receiver Brandin Cooks' fantasy stock was on the rise even before the Saints' preseason opener against the St. Louis Rams on Aug. 8.
His five receptions for 55 yards and a touchdown in that matchup just sent it into overdrive. 
Currently, Cooks' average draft position (ADP) stands at 75 overall and 31 among wide receivers, according to FantasyFootballCalculator.com. He has jumped ahead of fellow rookies Sammy Watkins and Kelvin Benjamin and even established veterans like Reggie Wayne, Eric Decker and Dwayne Bowe. 
Cooks' ADP proves that some owners are buying into the hype generated by the media, his teammates and, of course, his performances in training camp and the first preseason game, which speak for themselves. 
It's a smart move.
