Brandon Carr: Latest Contract News, Rumors, Speculation on Cowboys CB’s Future

Dallas Cowboys cornerback Brandon Carr, who is entering the final year of a five-year, $50.1 million deal, may not be in the team's plans for the future.

Carr's Status "Up For Discussion" Friday, Feb. 26 Cowboys executive vice president Stephen Jones spoke with Jon Machota of the Dallas Morning News about Carr.
"Obviously when you're making that kind of money, you subject yourself to some discussions," Jones said. "So we're obviously doing that, and we'll continue to do that."
Carr will be entering his ninth NFL season in 2016, and he has something to prove. In the last two seasons, Carr hasn't recorded a single interception after having 14 in his first six years in the league.
