Chicago Bears quarterback Brian Hoyer broke his arm during Thursday night's Week 7 game against the Green Bay Packers.

Latest on Hoyer's Status Friday, Oct. 21 NFL Network's Ian Rapoport reported that Hoyer broke his radius and that surgery is likely, although he noted that Hoyer could return late in the season. 
The Bears officially announced details of Hoyer's injury.
Hoyer Injury Dooms Bears' QB Depth  Chicago is now facing time without its top two quarterbacks, as Jay Cutler continues to nurse a thumb injury.
This is just the latest injury for Hoyer, who suffered concussions last season as the on-again, off-again starter for the Houston Texans.
Through five games this season as Chicago's impromptu starter entering Thursday night, Hoyer had been reliable, recording 1,396 passing yards with six touchdowns and no interceptions while completing 68.8 percent of his passes.
