Brock Osweiler to Texans: Takeaways from QB’s Introductory Press Conference

A day after ESPN's Adam Schefter reported quarterback Brock Osweiler had agreed to a four-year, $72 million deal with the Houston Texans following a strong 2015 season with the Denver Broncos, the signal-caller took the podium Thursday and answered questions about his seismic career shift. 
Osweiler got things rolling by thanking members of the Texans organization for affording him an opportunity to lead Houston forward, as the NFL's Twitter account documented:  
The NFL also relayed video of the 25-year-old discussing the factors that played into his decision to leave the reigning Super Bowl champions and sign with Houston:
Osweiler later explained how the process played out after a report from Mike Klis of 9News in Denver indicated that the quarterback "stopped returning phone calls" to coaches and "some teammates" in the two weeks that preceded his move.
