Broncos’ Peyton Manning Looking for 500th Touchdown Pass of Career

Denver Broncos quarterback Peyton Manning heads into Sunday's game against the Arizona Cardinals with 499 career touchdown passes, looking to join Brett Favre as the only players in NFL history to throw for 500.
Manning is all but a lock to reach the milestone, having thrown a touchdown pass in 42 straight games, good for the third-longest streak in NFL history, per Pro-Football-Reference.com's play index.
If he throws for a touchdown in each of the Broncos' 13 remaining regular-season contests, Manning will break the all-time record of 54 straight games with a scoring pass, set by New Orleans Saints quarterback Drew Brees from Sept. 12, 2010 to Nov. 25, 2012.
As for the 500-touchdown club, Manning likely has his sights set on higher goals, needing just 10 more touchdown passes to break Favre's all-time record of 508.
