We don't like to think about what the NFL will look like without tackles such as Joe Thomas or Jason Peters, or even underrated studs such as Andrew Whitworth, but it will happen. And it'll happen soon. 
My generation didn't want to think about an NFL without trendsetting tackles Jonathan Ogden and Walter Jones, but along came the next wave of talent in the form of Joe Thomas, Jason Peters, Trent Williams and more. We didn't want the game without Orlando Pace or Tony Boselli, but along came Tyron Smith and Joe Staley. No more Willie Roaf? Here's Kyle Long. The game moves on, and legends walk away.
