Calvin Johnson Injury: Updates on Lions WR’s Ankle and Return

Detroit Lions wide receiver Calvin Johnson left in the fourth quarter against the Kansas City Chiefs in London with an ankle injury. It is uncertain if he will be forced to miss future game time.

Johnson Has Bye Week to Rest Sunday, Nov. 1 Tim Twentyman of DetroitLions.com announced Johnson was doubtful to return against the Chiefs. The Lions were losing 45-10 at the time of the announcement, so it was unlikley he would return even if healthy.
The Lions have a bye in Week 9 before returning in Week 10 against the Green Bay Packers.
Johnson Has History of Nagging Injuries Johnson has avoided any major injuries throughout his career, never missing more than three games in a season since being drafted in 2007.
