Cardinals vs Panthers: Cards Playoff Hopes Still Alive

The Cardinals are miraculously still alive in the NFC West division race. Jay Feely kicked the Cardinals into fifth gear past the lifeless Denver Broncos last week to bring them to 4-9.
Arizona keeps their Super Bowl hopes from crashing if they beat Carolina, who has beaten them six-straight times in the regular season, and seven of nine all-time.
The Cardinals beat the Panthers on their way to their first Super Bowl appearance in 2009, but that now seems like an eternity ago.
If the Cardinals can manage to sweep the Panthers, Cowboys and 49ers, they would sit 7-9.
St. Louis and Seattle need to lose their next two games. Seattle and St. Louis meet Week 17 and the winner would be tied with Arizona. If the Rams and Seahawks tie to give them 6-9-1 records, Arizona would sneak into the playoffs as the NFC West division winners.
