Carlos Hyde Fined 23k for Using Crown of Helmet on Play Jon Beason Was Injured

San Francisco 49ers running back Carlos Hyde has been fined for what the NFL has deemed "unnecessary roughness" on a play in Week 5 against the New York Giants.
NFL.com's Ian Rapoport reported the fine, adding that 49ers guard Alex Boone was not penalized for a block in the back. 
According to Matt Maiocco of CSN Bay Area, Hyde is being docked $23,152 for using the crown of his helmet against Giants linebacker Jon Beason.
