Chad Johnson of Miami Dolphins Arrested for Alleged Domestic Violence Charge

Miami Dolphins head coach Joe Philbin criticized Chad Johnson for his recent profanity-laced media appearance. With Johnson's recent arrest, Philbin likely will more than criticize the charismatic pass-catcher.
Johnson was arrested Saturday night on a charge of domestic violence. His arrest comes just a day after the Dolphins lost to the Buccaneers 20-7 in their opening preseason game, where Johnson was held without a catch.
According to police reports, Johnson allegedly headbutted his wife, Basketball Wives star Evelyn Lozada, while arguing over a receipt for a box of condoms.
After Philbin's "private" talk with Johnson that aired on the HBO documentary series Hard Knocks, for Johnson to put himself in this position may intensify the relationship between the coach and player. Johnson is well-known for many of his antics, including legally changing his last name to "Ochocinco."
