Chargers Sign Tra Thomas, Send Message To Marcus McNeil

Yesterday San Diego newspapers confirmed rumors are true. Tra Thomas has signed with the San Diego Chargers.
Tra Thomas, an eleven year veteran with the Philadelphia Eagles, and Jacksonville Jaguars is a proven, experienced and by all accounts quality left tackle.
Chargers General Manager" A.J Smith"  confirmed not only the signing, but also Chargers fans worst fears when he issued this statement.
"It is my understanding that we have lost the services of both Marcus and Vincent for a considerable length of time. Therefore , I felt it was in our best interest to act quickly and secure a veteran left tackle".
Smith also went on to say that he will will drastically cut the restricted free agent tenders of McNeil from $3.26 million, down to $600,000, and Jackson from $3.28 Million to $550,000 if not signed by June 15th.
