Chiefs Set Record for Most Wins by a Team That Lost 5 Straight Games

The Kansas City Chiefs had an interesting 2015 regular season, to say the least, becoming the first team in NFL history to finish with an 11-5 record in a season that included a five-game losing streak, per Elias Sports Bureau via ESPN.com.
Following an impressive Week 1 win over the Houston Texans—Kansas City's opponent in the AFC Wild Card Round of the playoffs—the Chiefs lost five consecutive games to the Denver Broncos, Green Bay Packers, Cincinnati Bengals, Chicago Bears and Minnesota Vikings.
The first three defeats—all to teams viewed as legitimate Super Bowl contenders—may have been excusable, but the Week 5 home loss to Chicago seemingly put the nail in Kansas City's coffin.
Making matters even worse, the Chiefs then lost to Minnesota the following week, thus dropping to 1-5 with a couple of tough games coming up.
