With a number of injuries and upheaval at the quarterback position in the NFL this season, free agent Christian Ponder continues to be an option for teams looking to add a veteran presence at the position.

Bengals Showing Interest in Ponder Monday, Dec. 14 The Cincinnati Bengals reportedly reached out to Ponder following the injury to Andy Dalton in Week 14, according to Zac Jackson of Pro Football Talk.
Ponder, 27, last appeared in a game with the Minnesota Vikings in 2014. In 38 career games, he's thrown for 6,658 yards, 38 touchdowns, 36 interceptions and has completed just 59.8 percent of his passes. The Vikings declined his fifth-year option for this season, however.
He then signed with the Oakland Raiders but was cut before the season. He also had a short stint with the Denver Broncos after signing with the team in late November.
In Cincinnati, Ponder would be insurance for AJ McCarron, who will remain the starter...
