C.J. Spiller has failed to make a major impact with the New Orleans Saints this season, leading to speculation that the running back may not have a future with the team beyond the 2015 season.

Spiller Reportedly "A Long Shot" to Return to Team in 2016 Sunday, Dec. 13 Ian Rapoport of NFL.com (via NFL Media) reported that Spiller has "struggled to grasp this offense," that the team doubts his explosiveness and that "at this point it seems to be a long shot Spiller is actually on the Saints in 2016."
Spiller, 28, has struggled in 2015. As Katherine Terrell noted, "he has never taken more than 21 snaps on offense and three times has had less than 10 snaps." He's rushed for 108 yards this season, adding 29 catches for 216 yards and two touchdowns. And even he admitted he could be better.
