Clayton Geathers Injury: Updates on Colts Safety’s Possible Concussion, Return

The Indianapolis Colts may be without Clayton Geathers for Thursday's game against the Pittsburgh Steelers after coach Chuck Pagano said on Monday the safety was in concussion protocol, per Mike Chappell of Fox 59 in Indianapolis.

Latest on Geathers' Playing Status Monday, Nov. 21 Pagano said it is up to the doctors whether Geathers plays on Thursday, per Chappell.
Chappell also noted Geathers felt alright during Sunday's 24-17 victory over the Tennessee Titans but had issues later in the evening.
This is Geathers' second season, and he proved durable as a rookie by appearing in 15 games. Kevin Bowen of the Colts' official website said the team thinks highly of the safety-linebacker hybrid and pointed to his critical fourth-down stop of Tennessee's DeMarco Murray late in the fourth quarter of Sunday's game as another example of why.
Geathers has 59 combined tackles and a forced fumble this season.
