San Francisco 49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick reportedly remains about a month away from football activity as he recovers from shoulder surgery.

Kaepernick Making Progress After Multiple Procedures Wednesday, April 6 Matt Maiocco of CSN Bay Area, citing Mindi Bach, reported Wednesday that Kaepernick hasn't endured any setbacks during the recovery process, which puts him on track to return to full strength by May. The update comes as rumors about his future continue to swirl.
Matt Barrows of the Sacramento Bee reported in January that Kaepernick also had procedures done to alleviate pain in his thumb and knee while recovering from the shoulder issue. He projected a mid-April timetable for a complete recovery from all of the ailments, so not much has changed.
"Once again, I'm preparing to be healthy and win the Super Bowl. That's all my focus is," Kaepernick said after the season, per Paul Gutierrez of ESPN.com.
