D.J. Fluker Injury: Updates on Chargers OG’s Eye and Recovery

San Diego Chargers offensive lineman D.J. Fluker was unable to see out of one eye after he was bit in the eye by a bug in Week 9 against the Tennessee Titans. Although he didn't miss game time, his recovery process heading into Week 10 against the Miami Dolphins has yet to be detailed by the organization.

Fluker Comments on Infection Monday, Nov. 7 "I just did what I could do," said Fluker, per Michael Gehlken of the San Diego Union-Tribune. "It hurts. I was in there every play, so I just tried to fight through it. My O-line gave me confidence. My footwork kept me where I need to be. Had some ups and downs, but I just kept fighting." Gehlken continued:
Fluker dealt with drainage in his eye.
He characterized his vision during the game as "terrible," adding a chuckle.
