Daily Fantasy Football Week 1: Best DraftKings Values, Last-Minute Picks

There are two rookies DraftKings players need to keep an eye on in Week 1 of the NFL season.
The first is San Diego Chargers running back Melvin Gordon ($5,500). Gordon is set to be the workhorse back for San Diego, and he will be the first running back to take aim at the Detroit Lions' front seven without Ndamukong Suh.
In the preseason, the Lions' opponents averaged 103 rushing yards per game. If that persists in the regular season, opposing running backs will have a field day.
Gordon struggled in passing situations in the preseason; thus, he'll likely give way to Danny Woodhead on third downs. However, if the Chargers run the ball well on first and second downs, it may not matter.
If Gordon and the Chargers offense find a rhythm, he could have a fruitful debut.
