Good turnout at the polls so far.
As of last night, 77 people have voted in our best fantasy football team name contest for the summer of 2010.
The poll will expire on Oct. 1 at midnight, so make sure to cast your vote before then.
Yesterday I mentioned a few injuries to some of the key running backs in the NFL, and I know fantasy owners are interested in the results of the battery of medical tests these players endured on Monday.
Steven Jackson [RB, Rams]
SJax left the game against the Redskins with a groin injury, and there were some grumblings that it could have been a major injury from the looks of it. However, Jackson indicated yesterday that it only is a strain of the muscle and not a tear. Good news for sure, but fantasy owners still need to monitor his status closely.
Kenneth Darby, who most likely is available on the waiver wire in all your leagues, is the name to know here.
Ray Rice [RB, Ravens]
There is no ligament damage to his injure...
