Dallas Cowboys Quiet Offseason Is a Good Thing

In 2008 the Cowboys were discussed all summer about how they were going to improve on their 13-3 record the season before, and how they were the class of the NFC East.
In 2009 the Cowboys were discussed everyday about how they were going to bounce back from their 9-7 finish, the December meltdown, and the new Romo—friendly offense (without T.O.)
However, this season the Cowboys have been as quiet as a mouse.
The Cowboys cut Flozell Adams and Ken Hamlin, but it didn't make as much noise as in the last few years the Cowboys have let veterans go, in order to give younger players more time.
Linebacker Bobby Carpenter was traded for offensive lineman Alex Barron, but it's basically one underachieving player for another. And barring injury Barron won't see the field much.
The biggest reason for the quiet summer is that everyone is putting the team first.
