Dallas Cowboys Use Supplemental Seventh-Rounder on Josh Price-Brent

The Supplemental Draft took place today.  We hadn’t mentioned it because, well, it is really boring.  Each year, players who either missed the April draft or have recently been ruled ineligible for next season enter the Supplemental Draft.  Teams basically “bid” on players with future draft picks.
Earlier today, the Cowboys drafted Illinois defensive tackle Josh Price-Brent, making him one of two players selected.  They will yield their 2011 seventh-rounder for his services.
We really know next to nothing about Price-Brent.  He is apparently a three-technique defensive tackle who will likely move to defensive end in the Cowboys’ 3-4 system.  At 314 pounds, he has prototypical size to make the transition.  Below is a scouting report on Price-Brent, provided by Sporting News:
