Dallas Cowboys: Will Running Game Appear in Preseason Dress Rehearsal?

As much as we would all like to see it, it's unlikely that the Dallas Cowboys rushing attack takes over against the Cincinnati Bengals, at least not while the upper portions of both depth charts are on the field.
The Dallas offense is now under the play-by-play influence of offensive coordinator Bill Callahan. So far the results have been pretty good overall. To many Dallas observers, the importance against the Bengals is to try to establish a running game that helps get the ball into the end zone.
We already know that Tony Romo is an aggressive, down-field passer that has never had a problem generating yards. He's playing at a high level right now while having thrown zero interceptions in limited work.
The better the running game, the better Romo will be.
