Daniel Thomas Re-Signs with Dolphins: Contract Details, Comments and Reaction

The Miami Dolphins announced they will be reuniting with running back Daniel Thomas on Thursday.
Thomas was a second-round pick out of Kansas State in 2011 but didn't live up to the expectations of being the Dolphins' featured back during his first stint in Miami. He started only three games in four seasons while averaging 3.6 yards per carry.
The Dolphins cut Thomas in August of 2014.
Thomas signed a one-year deal with the Chicago Bears on June 18 but could not crack the team's Week 1 roster because of the crowded backfield of Matt Forte, Jeremy Langford and Ka'Deem Carey.
He ran for a career-high 107 yards on 18 carries in Week 2 of his rookie year against the Houston Texans and didn't have another 100-yard game until December 2013 against the Pittsburgh Steelers.
