Darius Butler Injury: Updates on Colts CB’s Ankle and Return

Indianapolis Colts cornerback Darius Butler suffered an ankle injury Saturday night during the team's preseason game against the Philadelphia Eagles.

Butler's Status Uncertain After Exiting Game Saturday, Aug. 27 Meghan McKeown of WISH reported the defensive back was ruled out for the rest of the contest.
Butler was having a strong game before being forced to the sidelines. He had an interception, which he returned for 13 yards, and a pass defended for a Colts secondary that already lacks depth.
The 30-year-old veteran is no stranger to dealing with minor ailments. He's played all 16 regular-season games just once over his first seven years in the NFL.
The severity of the latest setback wasn't immediately clear. Mike Chappell of Indy Sports Central reported the corner was wearing a wrap on his left ankle on the sideline.
