Darqueze Dennard Injury: Updates on Bengals CB’s Hip and Return

Cincinnati Bengals rookie cornerback Darqueze Dennard left the team's Saturday night preseason contest against the New York Jets with an apparent hip injury. The exact moment when he was injured is unknown, but Paul Dehner Jr. of The Cincinnati Enquirer noted it was in the first half of action:
Dennard was selected by the Bengals in the first round of the 2014 NFL draft out of Michigan State. He was instrumental in the Spartans' third-ranked pass defense last season and was widely heralded as one of the best cornerbacks in a very talented draft class.
Dennard was still buried on the team's depth chart, and expectations for the rookie shouldn't be very high this season due to a fair amount of depth; however, head coach Marvin Lewis did give the corner some big praise prior to the preseason, according to Bengals radio announcer Dan Hoard:
