Darrelle Revis Reportedly Won’t Hold Out of New York Jets Training Camp

When Darrelle Revis signed a four-year, $46 million contract with the New York Jets in 2010 after holding out the entire preseason, the deal was viewed as a band-aid from the franchise to get its star cornerback back before Week 1.
As much as many NFL experts and insiders have thought that this would be the year the league’s top cornerback held out again, that is reportedly not the case, according to the Associated Press.
The front-loaded deal signed in 2010 was used as a temporary fix to Revis’ issues, but the lack of elite pay in the final two seasons of the deal has caused tension between the defender and the Jets organization.
The AP reports (via ESPN) on Revis’ plan to attend New York’s training camp:
