Daryl Richardson Injury: Updates on Jets RB’s Concussion and Return

New York Jets running back Daryl Richardson sustained a concussion during Friday night's game against the Atlanta Falcons.

Richardson Suffers Head Injury Friday, August 21 According to Kimberly Martin of Newsday, Jets head coach Todd Bowles announced after their 30-22 win over the Atlanta Falcons.
Richardson took a hit to the helmet from Robenson Therezie and immediately went to the locker room, per WFAN's Chris Lopresti.
He was not the only Jet that suffered a concussion against the Falcons as safety Durrell Eskridge and wide receiver Jeremy Kerley were also effected.
After not playing in a game for the Jets last season, his third in the NFL, it seemed the that trend would continue for Richardson after the team acquired Stevan Ridley and Zac Stacy. The two would only add to the already deep backfield that included Chris Ivory and Bilal Powell.
