Daryl Smith to Buccaneers: Latest Contract Details, Comments and Reaction

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers agreed to terms on a one-year contract with veteran linebacker Daryl Smith on Thursday, according to Peter Schrager of Fox Sports.
The Bucs would later confirm the news:
Smith, 34, accumulated 121 tackles, three sacks and an interception in 16 games with the Baltimore Ravens in 2015. It was the sixth time in the last seven seasons Smith has registered 97 or more tackles.
He started all 48 games for the Ravens over the past three seasons and also led them in tackles in two of those seasons.
But the Ravens released Smith this offseason in conjunction with declining the 2016 option for fellow starter and defensive end Chris Canty, freeing up about $4.5 million of much-needed cap space in the process.
