Derek Carr Contract: Latest News, Rumors on Negotiations with Raiders

Raiders Reportedly Will Offer Carr Massive Contract Sunday, Nov. 6 Adam Schefter of ESPN.com reported Sunday that the Raiders are prioritizing a contract extension for Carr this offseason. According to the report, "a league source expects that deal 'to be Luck-ish,' a reference to the five-year, $123 million contract that Andrew Luck signed with Indianapolis last summer." 
Carr, 25, has been superb in 2016, throwing for 2,321 yards, 17 touchdowns and three interceptions while completing 66.3 percent of his passes. Oakland, in turn, has raced out to a 6-2 start and is tied for first in the AFC West with the Denver Broncos.
