DeVante Parker Injury: Updates on Dolphins WR’s Recovery from Foot Surgery

DeVante Parker will be a big part of the Miami Dolphins offense in 2015 if the team wants to take a step forward in the AFC East. However, the rookie wideout's debut may be delayed as he recovers from June foot surgery.

Parker's Agent: Unclear If WR Will Play in Preseason Tuesday, July 14 Speaking to Barry Jackson of the Miami Herald, Parker's agent, James Gould, said it's too early to determine if his client will play this preseason. He did add that the 22-year-old's recovery is going "perfect" and he is still on schedule to play in the Dolphins' regular-season opener on Sept. 13 at Washington. 

Gould also noted that doctors believe "they got it right" by replacing a screw in Parker's foot that was originally inserted during a 2014 procedure.
