Dexter McCluster Injury: Updates on Chargers RB’s Forearm and Recovery

San Diego Chargers running back Dexter McCluster's 2016 season has come to an abrupt end due to a broken forearm.

McCluster Placed on NFI List Saturday, Nov. 5 According to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport, the Chargers placed McCluster on the non-football injury list after he broke his forearm in an accident at his house. 
Per Michael Gehlken of the San Diego Union-Tribune, the accident involved moving luggage. 
The Chargers signed McCluster on Sept. 20 after Danny Woodhead was diagnosed with a season-ending ACL tear. He projected as an immediate contributor in the passing game after he spent time with offensive coordinator Ken Whisenhunt during their respective stints with the Tennessee Titans. 
Since then, he's not been a big factor, with three carries for two yards and no touchdowns while catching seven passes for 36 yards.
