Shawne Merriman's quest for a bigger payday has been really swept under the rug as of late.
All the talk centered around San Diego has really been about either Vincent Jackson, Marcus McNeill, or Ryan Mathews.
Reaching a deal with Merriman has become a secondary issue. Not even on the back burner, its been moved from there, to the counter, and into the freezer.
The Chargers are heading in a new direction at linebacker.
They are getting solid play from many younger and more talented players, with the list growing quickly.
So, now, I have decided to finally gather all the facts and present the long overdue case of Shawne Merriman vs. The San Diego Chargers.
