Donovan McNabb: Redskins To Bench Quarterback?

Donovan McNabb is headed back to the bench, according to an ESPN.com report.
McNabb and the Redskins travel to Dallas this Sunday to play hated NFC East rival, the Cowboys, and will apparently be doing so with Rex Grossman under center.
Grossman replaced McNabb at the end of the team's Week Eight loss to Detroit, a story that made many headlines. Head coach Mike Shanahan made the move, with the team behind 31-25 with under two minutes remaining.
Grossman promptly fumbled and the Redskins soon lost 37-25. Shanahan gave two separate explanations for that move: first that McNabb was out of shape and could not run the offense, second that he did not have enough command of the two-minute offense to run it effectively.
McNabb returned to the starting lineup the following week, and the team has lost four of the next five.
He also has a hamstring injury that could be part of the reason why Grossman will apparently start Sunday in Dallas.
