Donovan McNabb Thrown Into the Trash by Eagles: Franchise Quarterback a Bargain

It looks like his time is over.
According to Adam Schefter of ESPN , the Philadelphia Eagles have finally decided to trade away franchise quarterback Donovan McNabb to their division rival, the Washington Redskins.
The six-time Pro-Bowler had led the Eagles to five NFC Championship games and one Super Bowl.
Rumors have been circulating for weeks on whether McNabb would end up going to the Oakland Raiders or another team in need of a veteran quarterback.
No one would have thought they'd trade him to a division rival.
The deal will include a second-round pick from the Redskins to this year's 2010 NFL draft, and a third or fourth-round pick for next year's draft.
And now there are reports that the Redskins might fare better then the Eagles during this upcoming season.
Don't get too excited Redskins' fans.
Without a doubt, Donovan McNabb will add a dimension to your game that you have not seen in years, but he is not the answer.
