Free-agent safety Donte Whitner has yet to find a new home after the Cleveland Browns released him on April 2, but he may not be waiting much longer to sign with a team.

Whitner Visiting with Rams Sunday, April 10 Pro Football Talk's Mike Florio was the first to report news of Whitner's visit with the Los Angeles Rams. Early Sunday morning, Whitner tweeted a photo of a boarding pass for a flight to Los Angeles International Airport, which seemingly corroborates the report:
The timing of his release did the three-time Pro Bowler few favors. Most of the teams needing to add a safety had already done so or were in the process of finalizing any deals they had on the table. Whitner complained about as much on Twitter:
