Drew Stanton Video: Watch Detroit Lions QB Kill The Dougie.
Yep, the title says it all.
Midway through the first quarter of the Detroit Lions' game against the Chicago Bears on Sunday, newly anointed quarterback Drew Stanton decided to dance after his first rushing touchdown of the season.
Never mind that the Lions lost to the Bears, 24-20. Never mind that Stanton is a third-string quarterback...on the Detroit Lions. Never mind that he can't dance.
He did it anyway, and he seemed pretty proud of it by the looks of it.
Stanton finished going 16-of-24 with 178 yards passing and a passing touchdown. The former Michigan State QB, drafted in the second round of the 2007 NFL Draft by the Lions, hasn't danced in a while probably. So this was obviously his chance.
In the process of dancing like a fool, Stanton not only embarrassed himself, he embarrassed his whole team. And that's not easy to do. His teammates have been getting embarrassed all season long....
