Dwayne Allen Injury: Updates on Colts TE’s Ankle and Return

The oft-injured career of Dwayne Allen continues, as the Indianapolis Colts tight end suffered an ankle injury in Week 6 against the Houston Texans and did not return to the game.
His status for Week 7 against the Tennessee Titans has yet to be announced.

Allen Injury Details Revealed  Sunday, Oct. 16 Allen left the field on crutches, but he did not have a cast or boot on his ankle, just sneakers, according to James Palmer of the NFL Network. He caught one ball for nine yards before exiting. 
A Healthy Allen is Key to Successful Colts Offense
Since playing all 16 games as a rookie in 2012, Allen has been susceptible to injuries that cause him to miss time. The former third-round pick missed 15 games in 2013 due to a hip problem and missed three games last season with a sprained ankle.
